Making the EKKO big bed without carrying the center cushions | Winnebago Ekko

The purpose of this mod is to not carry the center cushions but to be able to easily make the big bed as well as access the under bed storage. I removed the piece of wood from the center cushion and took off the black pastic “night table.” I sanded and painted the wood before reattaching the black plastic piece with shorter screws. I also removed the Frolis. The wood insert can still be used between the bedroom drawers with the black tray facing the floor to slide the mattresses across to make the big bed either east/west or north/south if you don’t mind climbing back up.
