Quick and easy insulation for entrance steps and cab | Winnebago Spirit
Posted By
This is as easy as it gets, but really helps keep the cold out. Links to the products are provided below. Jury-rigged to hang one corner of the cushion from a hook in the entrance stepwell using the tag already on the cushion. You could use a bungee and a hook or any number of other ways to just keep that corner up so that it doesn't fall down into the bottom entrance step. Would be good to measure your stepwell, but the pic shows the 28x35" size that worked for my 2021 Spirit 22M. The curtains in the front simply smush under the cab mattress and work amazingly well at insulating the cab from the coach. The hooks are over door hooks that just help keep it in place that I had already been using to hang coats etc from. I use 2 big patio door insulated blackout curtains overlapped in the middle, which lets me reach through if I need to grab something from the cab. If I want access to the front seats to put stuff on, then I simply route the curtains in front of those seats instead of behind.
