Thermostat upgrade | Storyteller Overland MODE 4x4
This mod is all about pet safety designed to keep Max nice and safe this summer when he’s left in the car. We try to bring Max everywhere we go but that’s not always possible. So my latest mod arrived just in time for the summer heat. This upgraded thermostat has WiFi and Bluetooth capability, you can control and monitor it from anywhere you WiFi service on your phone via the app (you can even control it from under the covers with the BT app, should be useful for those cold mornings). The thermostat app also has built in alerts to notify you if the vehicle is above or below a user specified temp so you can know if there’s a problem. I also added an auxiliary battery powered temp sensor from Temp Stick than can be set up to email and text you alerts. I currently have both of these connected to a mifi router which is dependent on cell service. The heater functions exactly the same as before and can also be controlled remotely with the thermostat same as the AC. It feels much more like a house thermostat, and yes the screen times out after 1min of inactivity. If you’re interested in more details you can get more at www.micro-air.com , and the temp stick can be ordered on Amazon here Temp Stick Wireless Remote... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HH7YD2Y...
