Installing a Dreamline Shower with a Palisade Tile Surround | Keystone Laredo
The 2011 Laredo fifth wheel renovation was a client Pre-Sale renovation. Our client wanted a Dream Line shower installed because she had seen them in other RV renovations. We had two things that complicated the install, one the plumbing tank vent went up the wall and was in the way of the shower base and two, the drain of the new shower base was in a different spot and sat right on top of the aluminum framing. To solve both problems we ended up building new walls, we built the first wall just to get past the plumbing vent pipe and we built the 2nd wall to make the drain sit right on the other side of the aluminum framing. We used Red Guard waterproofing membrane on the new wall before installing the Palisade tile shower surround. In the end we are happy with the shower install, it is a focal point of the RV renovation.
