Replaced RV bathroom faucet with residential faucet | Heartland Pioneer
We replaced the faucet for two reasons, one the RV faucet sits so low you have to stick your hands all the way down in the sink to wash them, and two because the standard RV faucets are UGLY. It's a fairly simple modification that doesn't necessarily require fancy tools. We use a pipe cutter tool to cut the pex pipe and install Sharkbite connections on the pex that have a 1/2' push to connect on one end and a 3/8 compression on the other end. This allows it to connect directly to the new faucet lines and provides you with a valve to turn the water supply off in case you ever forget to winterize your camper and your faucet freezes.
