Remove a wall to create an open layout | Forest River Wildwood
Posted By
We removed the half wall behind the sofa in this model to open up the floor space. In order to do this we had to build a new furnace housing to install the three furnace vents on each side. The only electrical in the little wall was the thermostat so we reinstalled the thermostat on the side wall where the wires came from. We replaced the legs that originally came on the futon with 12" wood legs so it would sit 2" above the furnace intake vent. I spray painted the bottom of the legs gold to match the decor of the camper. We also replaced the original furnace vents with black vents.
