Replacing stock water heater with tankless water heater | Jayco Jay Flight

We sold this camper after we renovated it and the new owner is using it as a vacation home on the river. They wanted to be able to have endless hot water for showers after playing in the river. The Girard tankless water heater was pretty easy to install. We did have to frame in the opening on the exterior because the Girard was smaller than the original water heater. One thing to note about the Girard brand is the exterior door is specific to the original water heater manufacturer brand and size. The exterior doors are sold separately and It's very easy to order the wrong door. The Girard is powered by propane and 12 volt only so we were able to use the 110 electric wiring that went to the original water heater and install an outlet for the client's coffee maker.
